Mixed bag

Cookie enthusiast here. I travel widely and try bakeries wherever I go. I live in the TB area but this place is rather far from my home. Read the reviews online and decided to make the trip. Purchased $60 worth of cookies. Overall, I felt that the quality was very high. The reason for the one star demerit is that several of the varieties were just too sweet. This may seem like a strange thing to say about a dessert but for so many food items, balance is important. The excessive sweetness got in the way of the cookies' other qualities and dominated the experience. I preferred the oatmeal raisin as I felt the flavors were balanced nicely with the texture. The PB chocolate chip was good, not great. Salted caramel was good. I tried a few bites without the caramel topping and decided it was marginally better with the topping but would have preferred that the caramel was inside the cookie rather than a topping. My guess is that they favored presentation over taste/experience. Plain chocolate chip was good. We also tried five other varieties which were dominated by excessive sweetness.

My FAVORITE COOKIE!

This one is so good! Love how you can taste the brown butter the softness and melting in your mouth chocolate morsels …..the sea salt makes such a great combination 🩷 You won’t be disappointed at all!!
